Dungarees

I couldn't wait to wear my dungarees this summer.  I know a lot of people feel that they are too hard to pull off, but I think if you like something and it's not absolutely insane than you should just wear it.  I got my from Plato's Closet, but they are originally from Target.  I added the studs myself.  It was a bit difficult to figure out what to wear with these.  I decided to wear a feminine top, to avoid looking like a farmer. I love this double collar accent on the shirt.  It's from Target.  My sandals are from Urban Outfitters.  The watch is vintage Gucci, the necklace is a small Eiffel Tower locket from Forever 21.  My glasses are Forever 21, and my ring is made out of hematite, from a vacation (I can't remember where).

Casual Summer

8:34:00 PM Andrea Ryan 0 Comments

This is just one of my casual summer outfits.  The shorts are new and from Forever 21. My top is from Nordstrom.  I have had it a while but it is one of my favorite tanks because of the beautiful floral pattern and the ruffles at the bottom.  My sandals are Candies.  My purse is from Target.  The sunglasses are also from Forever 21.  I got super excited when I saw them because I have been looking for affordable sunglasses that are this exact style since last summer.  It's about time Forever 21 makes them! This day was a good day because I got both frozen yogurt from Red Mango and my very first bakery bought French macaroon.

Instaprints

I know this post isn't about fashion but it is in an indirect way.  I heard from another blogger about a website called Foxgram.  It prints your Instagram pictures.  I decided that since I am so in love with Instagram that I need to do this.  I did, and I am extremely happy with how these prints turned out.  they are just so cute and perfect.  I am not sure what to do with them yet, but I honestly don't even care.  I am just in love with them.  I am surely going to print more in the future.  I chose my favorites.  I learned that I seem to take pictures that fit into categories.  So, I divided them up to show them off.  I guess this post involves fashion because a lot of my Instagram pictures are about my style.  If you have any ideas of what I should do with these please share.

Rainbow Horses

Discovering new places nearby is always exciting.  I often drive past this park near my house and finally stopped.  It is surprisingly peaceful, for having roads on both sides of it.  The moon and sun were out at the same time, like many days, but I have never taken a picture of it before.  I got lucky because there were several hot air balloons in the sky and one flew right near the moon.  Today I wore my rainbow horse top from H&M.  My scalloped shorts are from Akira Chicago.  I am obsessed with scalloped edges on clothing.  My sandals are Forever 21.  My elephant necklace is also Forever 21.  An elephant on clothing or accessories will snatch up my heart instantly, they are my favorite animal.  My bangle bracelets are from various places, and my sunnies are Mudd (surprisingly).  My purse is Asos, but it doesn't really go too well with my outfit, so ignore it.

Mulberry

There is a cute little shop in Nashville, Indiana, called Mulberry Cottage.  I took a mini trip there today through the curvy and hilly roads, past Brown County State Park.  I love this little store because the upstairs portion sells bunches of adorable and feminine dresses, blouses, and skirts.  Everything up there is very much  my style; cute.  I went in a few other shops in Nashville, just because I walked past them.  Anyway, the town is pretty cute and has streets full of little shops.  Mulberry Cottage is definitely my favorite.  I bought this purple dress-thing.  Its super pretty and I couldn't pass it up.  It is by the brand a' reve.  I decided to wear my new pleated lace peplum top by Elle.  My spiked shorts, glittery sandals, lion necklace, and sunglasses are from Forever 21.  I just got them last week so they are all probably still available.  My bracelet was made by me and just happens to match my necklace perfectly.  If anyone else has been to Nashville, I want to know what your favorite shop is.

Summer Must-Haves

7:56:00 PM Andrea Ryan 2 Comments

Here is my list (kind of) of summer must-haves.  These are things or general styles I recommend for summer.
This striped head wrap is really adorable and I have been meaning to get one.  This one is from Lulu in the Sky.  I recommend eating sorbet as much as possible this summer because it is seriously delicious and not as fattening as ice cream.  This beach towel is super awesome.  It looks like an animal skin rug, but it't really a towel.  So cool, and by Zimmerman.  The beige wedges are Forever 21 and will come in handy for wearing with both dresses and shorts.  I love hats but they look bad on me because of my short neck.  However, if you can pull them off I suggest getting a floppy brimmed one for summer.  Moving to the left, stack-able bracelets are beautiful, colorful, and amazing.  You can find them tons of places but these are from Topshop.   As for a casual dress, I have been crushing of this purpley one by Mink Pink. I really love beachy looking jewelry and I think these gold shell earrings are beautiful.  I just got a pair from Target.  If your going to a summer wedding Topshop has some really awesome dress styles right now. I have chosen three of my favorites.  Notice there is a lot of floral in this list.  I seriously have an obsession with floral. I might have gone overboard and it's cool if your not a big fan of floral, but I just can't help it.  As for swimwear, it is probably the most crucial summer must-have.  This one-piece has a peplum and I think that's awesome.  Target has some really beautiful suits this summer (and most summers).  The floral midi length top and the tribal one are both from Target.  The top at the bottom is by Zimmerman.  I have been noticing a lot of maxi skirts in stores right now and these two are really pretty.  The left one is from Warehouse and the right is Lipsy London.  I love round sunglasses.  They just feel really refreshing.  High wasted denim shorts are very handy for crop tops and tucking in blouses.  I think they are definitely a must.  The ring is very  cool and tribal inspired.  The cuff is by Betsey Johnson.  I just think it's very pretty and summery looking.  Lastly, these sandals are beautiful and the style is very popular right now.

Galaxy Print at the Observatory

9:59:00 PM Andrea Ryan 4 Comments

Galaxy print clothing and accessories is not a new trend but I have noticed that it is finally starting to catch on.  I love this theme because, not only do I love outer space, but I think these prints are very pretty and unique.  Here are some ideas of where to buy galaxy print clothing.  I am kind of in love with all of them.  Although, it may be easier to find these items online, because I haven't seen many in stores.  My boyfriend and I went to the observatory the other night.  I chose to wear my Romwe galaxy skirt. The fit is perfect and the colors are beautiful.  My bustier style bodice is from Urban Outfitters.  My sparkly triangle ring and cross rings are made by me.  My other ring is made in Peru.  The wedge boots are from Target.

Striped Pants

8:24:00 AM Andrea Ryan 0 Comments

I recently got these pants from Forever 21.  I went there looking for dresses, but in the back of my mind was also wanting high wasted jeans.  I saw these and it was pretty much love at first site.  The boots are also from Forever 21.  As you can tell, I'm kind of obsessed with collars.  This one is perfect because of the crochet lace flowers.  It is H.I.P., from Nordstrom.  My "arm candy" is a collection, consisting of two LC Lauren Conrad bracelets, a vintage Gucci watch, and the cameo bracelet from Asos.  Lastly, my ring is fair trade from Peru.
