Casual Beach Day

Top: Forever 21
Sunnies: Forever 21
Jelly Shoes: 5 Below
Bracelets: Orange: Forever 21, other two: made myself
Necklace: Etsy

Yesterday was one of those days where it's warm enough to go hang out at the beach for a bit, but nothing close to summer weather (as you can tell with the ice).  I wore this casual grey top, made from jersey with rhinestones sprinkled across the shoulders.  It's from Forever 21 (last year).  These sunglasses are also from Forever 21.  There pretty new but they don't have them anymore, unfortunately.  They do have lots of other cool ones here.  I know, I wear a lot of clothing from Forever 21, but it's hard not to.  They just always seem to have what i'm looking for.  I found these adorable, mouse jelly shoes at 5 Below.  They were only $1!

Jacket: Forever 21
Top: Mango
Jeans: Forever 21
Boots: Steve Madden
 Necklace: Apt. 9

Yesterday entailed a mini trip to Chicago, The Shedd Aquarium to be precise.  I wore this flowy, cotton top from Mango.  I love the swing style and the beautiful floral fabric.  If you haven't noticed yet, i'm obsessed with floral.  I'm trying to buy less of it so I can have a more well-rounded closet, but it's not really working.  Floral just seems to fit my personality too well.

Zara Top

Top: Zara
Leather Leggings: H&M
Shoes: Restricted (with altered laces)
Rings: Forever 21

I found this Top at Zara two weeks ago.  What I love about it is the leather on the collar and cuffs, and the subtle floral print.  It's not your everyday floral.  It's the first thing I have ever bought from Zara.  I rarely find anything that I like at Zara.  I know a lot of people love it, but I find a lot of the clothing to be too boring for the money.  Every once in a while I find something, but never actually buy it.  I wore my leather leggings again.  I know I just wore them in the last post, but hey go too well with the leather collar.  I'd really like to know other peoples' opinions on Zara.  Am I crazy for not loving it?

First Signs

Purse: Michael Kors
Top: Target
Leggings: H&M
Shoes: Topshop

I can't believe it's happening.  It's actually starting to get warmer.  The first signs of Spring are starting to show up.  The snow is melting and the sun is out much more often.  Yesterday I wore this cute, flowy top that I got from Target, paired with my leather leggings and these new shoes from Topshop.  I got my Michael Kors purse for Christmas, but I haven't been able to use it till today because of the weather.  I didn't want to chance getting the suede wet.  What I really love about this bag is the quality and style.  It looks more fashion-forward than many Michael Kors bags.  I love designer bags but when they are overly branded and lack in the style department, they don't appeal to me.  I'm talking about the Michael Kors bags that are covered in "MK," Coach bags that have the logo all over, and Louis Vuitton bags with "LV" everywhere.  I like my purses to be a little bit more unique.

Black on White, and White on Black

Top: Charolette Ronson
Jeans: Forever 21
Coat: Forever 21
Boots: Steve Madden
Purse: Apt. 9
Necklace: Made myself (similar for sale on my Etsy shot)

Today was a non-typically amazing day.  Spur-of-the-moment, I went to Chicago to shop.  I wore this top by Charolette Ronson, for I <3 Ronson.  What I find most interesting about it is the subtle pattern.  The colors on the top and sleeves switch places.  I can't quite put that into words any better than I did, just look closely.  While shopping, I remembered this little courtyard of this church-type-place.  I love old extravagant buildings and fancy courtyards.

March Wishlist

8:32:00 PM Andrea Ryan 1 Comments

Welcome to my March wishlist!  The most important thing on my list is sun.  I am dying for it.  I cannot take another day of this cold, cloudy weather.  Honestly, I'm surprised I made it through this winter.  I feel like I should have shivered to death.  Besides the sun, I really want a skort, this gingham dress from Topshop, these cute sandals from asos, and this giant polka dot top from H&M.  My watch recently broke and I have had my eye on this Marc Jacobs one.  I love the minimalism of it.  I also really love black and gold together.  Other than that, I have been looking for another cute hat.  This one it an example of what I thing would be nice for spring.  What have you been thinking about for March?
