Overall Dress

Last week I went strawberry picking.  Between all of the rain showers, I got a short break on the one day of the week I got to leave work early.  I got loads of luscious berries, as you can see.  I wore this overall dress that I found at T.J. Maxx.  It's not very often that you come across an overall dress in the store, so I picked it up.  I didn't try it on, so it's a little big.  I think all it really needs is a zipper to bring in the waist and maybe a quick hem.  I'll do that before I wear it next time.  Anyway, I highly suggest picking your own berries as a fun summer activity.

Summer Solstice

Dress: Romwe
Shoes: Topshop
Sunglasses: Mudd (altered)
Necklace: Topshop
Bracelet: sorry, forgot.

Summer is finally here.  It's my favorite season.  I spent my weekend eating loads of strawberries, and hanging out at the beach.  I've had this dress since early spring and haven't had a chance to wear it, because it was so cold.  It's from Romwe.  It is the first thing I have bought from there.  I'm pretty happy with it, but it took forever to come in the mail.  The fabric is a beautiful combination of flowers and what looks like galaxy print.  The only negative is that there is no zipper and it's kind of hard to get on.  I'm not sure if I will be buying anything else from Romwe, but they do have free worldwide shipping.  Free shipping is always tempting.

Swimsuit: ASOS

Another post at the beach.  I go to the beach a lot when it's warm.  I don't want all of my posts to be at the beach but it's just so easy and fun.  I'm sure there will be many more this summer too.  I got this beautiful new beach towel the other day from Target.  I am in love with it's design, size and quality.  It was only $11 too.  It's really great quality for the price.  I know how hard it is to find an awesome beach towel that isn't designer.  That's why i'm making this post.  If you need a new one go to Target.

Bike Ride

Jumpsuit: Sheinside
Bracelet and necklaces: my own creations
Sandals: Forever 21 (last summer)

I went on a mini weekend getaway this past weekend to New Buffalo, MI, and other surrounding areas.  I took my pretty purple bike on an almost 10 mile bike ride along the beach.  It was the perfect opportunity to wear my new jumpsuit.  Jumpsuits are amazing.  They are comfortable, easy, and look cool.  I think this one is especially pretty.  It's a skort jumpsuit.  I didn't know such a thing existed before, but I should have realized that it was only a matter of time.  It was an almost perfect weekend.

Summer Swimwear

These are some of the swimsuits I have been eyeing/lusting over for summer.  Sorry, the quality of the image isn't the best.  I had issues.  As you can tell, I really love color and pattern.  I especially love floral.  I'm sure you know that by now.  The first suit is the one that I have chosen to get this season.  I have found it to be absolutely perfect.  The beautiful floral and scallops make it a bit rare.  I've never seen one quite as pretty, in my price range.  It's by Ted Baker.  The rest of the suits are by other various designers/brands; pink-Marysia Swim, patterned-Mara Hoffman, flamingo-WILDFOX, landscape-We Are Handsome, halter- Zimmermann, one-piece with straps-Maaji, floral one-piece-Ted Baker, highwasted-Topshop, frilly-Zimmermann, and outlined in black-Triangl.  Just wanted to share a few of my faves.

Downtown

Overalls: Target
Top: American Eagle
Necklace: Lauren Conrad
Purse: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I always love going to Chicago.  I had a ridiculously lovely Saturday downtown.  I did some shopping and wondered around.  The weather was perfect.  I took these pics by the Chicago River.  As you can see, it's sparky and beautiful.  I wore my overalls and this cute top.  It difficult to see the details, but there is embroidery and eyelet cut-outs along the top.  I got it a few months ago from American Eagle.  I don't go in there very often because it's not my style, but I did find one thing I liked.

It was just another casual outfit day.  I wore this to the European Market last week.  If you remember, I have this same top in white.  I wore it in a previous post.  What I love about it is the eyelet design down the front.  It's really pretty and feminine.  The color is also my absolute favorite! Although, I do love every shade of aqua.  I went to the European Market to get flowers, but didn't find any.  Instead, I got this HUGE pretzel.  It was amazing.....and HUGE! It was actually really heavy too.
