Vintage Co-ord

Skirt & Blazer: Thrifted, vintage
Tank: Target
Sandals: Wanted

I just love discovering things in my closet that I forgot about.  I bought this outfit a few years ago and have never worn it.  I'm not really sure why.  I think I just always look past it when I look in my closet.  I think it's really cool because it is vintage but totally in style.  I also love the floral print.  Wearing this is reminding me that I haven't been thrifting in a while and I should probably go because I might find more treasures like this.

I know that anybody who pays attention to my blog probably knows how much I love floral.  I found this top at Target.  I love the Blue and white floral pattern.  It just feels kind of nautical and Summery.  I also got this bucket bag from H&M this week.  I really needed a plain black purse and I wanted a bucket bag, so perfect combo!

I also want to add that I put some of my S/S collection up on Etsy, so you can check that out here:  https://www.etsy.com/shop/BlossomBrigade

Sushi T-shirt

Today I went for a short walk.  I wore my striped sushi top from Zara.  I got it when I went to Houston about a month ago.  It fits really well, and feels like really good quality for the money.  I chose to wear it with these tapered pants from Forever 21.  I got them a while ago though.  I normally tuck shirts into these pants because they are high wasted, but I think this shirt looks better untucked.  It just makes it feel a bit more modern.  It's not that I am getting tired of high wasted things, I just feel like it's becoming too predictable for me.

Top: Blossom Brigade
Jeans: F21
Sandals: Wanted
Bracelet: Meijer

I'd like to introduce to you the first piece of many from my S/S15 collection from Blossom Brigade.  I'm showing you this one first because it was the first one that I made.  This collection consists of mostly satin pieces.  It's kind of an odd concept but I think satin looks really cool in the sun.  I also like how it can look totally casual or be easily dressed up.  For this top, I wanted to do something with giant sequins.  I haven't seen anything quite like this before.  I designed a top with huge sequins when I was in High School but never made it.  I always kept that idea in the back of my mind and when I was thinking of designs, I thought it would be cool for Spring.  The star shape was inspired by studs on a purse that I own.  It's slightly cropped/boxy silhouette is really fun.  I'm wearing a size small, in case you are wondering about fit.  It will be for sale near the end of this week.

Charlotte Skirt

Top: Forever 21
Skirt: Charlotte Ronson
Necklaces: F21
Sunglasses: Charlotte Russe

Today was the perfect day for this simple outfit.  This is an example of what I commonly wear to the beach, a comfortable skirt and top.  It's hard to see in this lighting but this skirt has an angled layer panel on each side.  That just gives this skirt something a little bit extra, as opposed to the typical A-line.  I'm sure I will be throwing this on a lot this Summer.

Easter Floral

Dress: One Clothing
Shoes: Modcloth
Rings: Forever 21
Purse: Blossom Brigade (not for sale yet)

Happy Easter!  Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays for numerous reasons; Easter dresses, candy, pastels, and spring.  This is the dress that I am planning on wearing this year.  I got it right before I went on vacation.  I just love how unique it is.  The fabric is like floral mesh, but where the flowers are it's solid.  The lining gives it a subtile shine too.  It's just a really pretty dress.  Of course I have to wear my bunny ring, I wear it every year.  My purse is by my soon-to-be label Blossom Brigade.  It's not for sale yet but it will be soon.  If you are interested in getting it early, feel free to e-mail me.

Hey guys! I was inspired by DailyLook to put together an outfit for spring, using a dress from their LBD collection.  When I think about spring I wouldn't normally think about wearing a little black dress but you can wear them year round.  They are perfect for parties, going out, or dressier nights on vacation.  The scenario that I had in mind for this look was when you are on vacation and going out to eat at a nice restaurant.  I chose this dress because it's super modern and not too dressy.  These shoes are amazing because the heel is clear.  I feel like that gives the outfit more of a edgy, playful look.  The purse was chosen to bring a little bit of the tropics into the outfit.  It's more casual and makes you feel like you're on vacation.  I love the way this necklace complements the neckline of the dress.  I think they would look really amazing together.  The rings are just a few more accessories to add to the look.  You can check out this dress and the other LBDs here.
