As i'm working on this post, I am reminded of how much I love blogging.  It's just so fun to wake up, get dressed and share with your followers what you are wearing.  I love seeing what other people wear as well.  It's fun to find cool places to take pictures.  I came across this little park at a church, and it looked perfect.  I probably would have never found it, if it weren't for blogging.  All the other parks I commonly go to had weddings today, so I had to search for another place.  Although I don't have a ton of followers, I am very thankful for the ones that I do have.  I remember when I first started, I would only get like 2 page views.  It felt so pointless.  I'm just glad I stuck with it, because I still love it.
I got this dress last Valentines Day.  My boyfriend and I decided to go shopping together and pick out outfits for each other to wear on Valentines Day.  The dress he picked didn't fit and this was the second choice.  It's kind of a loose, baby doll style dress.  I chose to wear it with these new sandals.  They look like they are lace-up, but have zippers up the back.  I used to have lace-up sandals in High School and the straps always fell down.  I love how they look, but didn't want to deal with that again.

More from Cocomelody*

Cocomelody is an online bridal shop that sells beautiful dresses at an affordable price point.  They offer a little bit of every style.  There are tons of options to choose from.  Many of them are very extravagant without the high cost.  If you are looking for an inexpensive, pretty dress then you may be interested.  Even though I won't be getting married anytime soon, I know a lot of people that are and may be able to benefit from this post.  Just because you are on a tight wedding budget, doesn't mean you can't have a pretty dress.

There are many options of designer wedding dresses you can choose from.  These dresses have lots of embellishment and detail.  There are elements like pretty tulle and layers of chiffon and lace.  They all have a little bit of extra detail to make them feel extra special.  There are many available but I have chosen two of my favorites to show you.

Another wedding trend that I have noticed is convertible bridesmaid dresses.  Cocomelody also offers a variety of those.  You can choose the way the dresses are styled or have all of your bridesmaids wear their dresses differently.  They are a refreshing alternative to traditional bridesmaids dresses.  There are tons of different fabrics and colors that you can choose from for convertible bridesmaid dresses.  My two favorite options are below.

Cocomelody offers free shipping on wedding dresses when you spend $300!  The offer ends May 31st.  Many of their dresses are marked down significantly from their original price.

Tulip Time in Holland

Jacket: Forever 21

Shoes: Report

I've always wanted to go to the Tulip Time Festival in Holland, Michigan.  I finally went with my boyfriend and sister, a few weeks ago.  I have been to Holland before but liked it much better the second time because there was more to do.  For those of you who have never heard of Holland, MI, it's just a little lakefront town that has a lot of Dutch culture.  It's very similar to other towns in Michigan that have that nautical, Lake Michigan feel, but it also has a lot of Dutch things.  The giant windmill is probably the focus of the town.  There are people in costumes who do traditional dances.  They have a festival every year for the time when tulips bloom.  There is a parade, craft boots, lots of food, and some other activities.  I found a shop that sells coo coo clocks, which is really exciting.  I have always wanted one.  Although I didn't get one this time, I will for sure when I have my own place to decorate.  I just love how detailed and interesting they are.  I did buy an ornament for my future Christmas tree though.  I collect Christmas ornaments from the places I go so that when I get enough I have have a travel themed tree.  The Tulip Festival is just one of those things that I had to do once.

My New Puppy

Pants: Zara
Top: T.J. Maxx

A few weeks ago my family got our new puppy, Skipper.  I don't really know what to say about him except that he is adorable (obviously).  He is 10 weeks old, and a Golden Retriever.  I've been having a lot of fun playing with him and taking him to the beach.  He is super playful and does really funny things.  He is really clumsy and is always falling and running into stuff.  He hasn't really learned how to act like a dog yet.  I kind of just wanted to take some pictures with him so that I can remember how tiny he was when he is full grown.
I got these pants from Zara a while ago.  I thought they would be perfect for Spring, which they are.  They are a little bit too big, but I can alter them.  I feel like they go really well with this mock neck, cropped tank.  I wanted this top to be a new staple in my wardrobe but Skipper already put some snags in this top with his claws.  I'm pretty sad about it because I haven't even worn this shirt more than once.  It's alright though.  I think I can still wear it.  Maybe nobody will notice.

Hoover Dam

Romper: H&M (in stores)
Sandals: Target
Sunglasses: Zero UV
Necklace: Forever 21

On our last day of our trip to Las Vegas, we went to Hoover Dam.  It's about a 45 minute drive from the Vegas strip.  We went the same day we were leaving, before catching our evening flight home.  I went to Hoover Dam last time I went to Las Vegas.  That was before the bridge over the river was built.  The dam itself is so high up.  I was surprised by how hight it is.  I didn't remember it being such a far drop.  It was a nice quick trip overall.
I wore this new romper from H&M.  I got it in Las Vegas at Caesar's Palace.  I have to say that the H&M there is my least favorite that I have ever been in.  It was truly a terrible experience.  They played one really annoying song the whole time I was in there.  It never ended and it was a really intense tech-type song with awful rapping.  I kept thinking the song would end and change but it lasted for over a half hour.  It just made me feel super rushed and stressed.  I know it seems dumb to complain about that, but it really ruined my experience in that store.  I usually love H&M, so it just surprised me.

Seeing Las Vegas lit up at night is so much different than seeing it during the day.  Just about every single sign lights up and sparkles.  It reminds me so much of Time Square, but still really different.  Even the sign for McDonalds is lit up.  I don't have that many pictures of me and my outfits because my camera doesn't take the best pictures at night.  In these pictures of me I am wearing my white tank with a flamingo print pocket with my casual shorts.  With all the walking that I did and pool time, I wore mostly casual clothes while in Las Vegas.
