SHORTS:Target | TOP:Target | SUNGLASSES: Zaful | SANDALS: Akira Chicago | NECKLACE: Target

I just got these shorts from Target in the sale section.  I love this color.  I feel like it is such an uncommon and under appreciated color.  The shorts are a little large but the size down was too small. I don't really mind though.  I also really love the tassels.  I paired it with this top that I got from target two years ago.  I love the way the colors look together.
These shorts say that they are machine washable.  I decided to just throw them in the washing machine inside out, even though I figured the tassels would get messed up.  After they were done washing but before I hung them up to dry, I combed out the tassels.  I just took a fine brush and brushed it through the strings so that they would dry correctly.  Before I did that they were super tangled and messed up.  Normally, I would just gently hand wash something with tassels, but I didn't have time.  If your tassels are messed up, I recommend brushing the strings before you let them dry.  You can do it after they dry but it will be much harder.

first day of summer

😀Happy First day of summer!😀  Summer has always been my favorite season.  The first day of summer is like Christmas to me.  It's always so exciting.  This top is totally my style.  It basically encompasses everything I have been loving.  It's off-the-shoulder (but still has straps), nautical style stripes, and colorful floral embroidery.  It actually fits super well too! I got it from Zaful.  I paired it with these blue shorts from Zara.  I would have probably chosen white shorts to wear with it, but I just got rid of mine and haven't gotten new ones.

Black Bodycon Mini Dress + Giveaway

9:43:00 AM Andrea Ryan 1 Comments

I am doing another post with Zaful.  I have two items to share with you guys, both of these dresses. This black bodycon mini dress and this red beach dress.  There are several other similar items to choose from on both pages.  I love the first dress because it's cute and summer-y.  It would be perfect to wear to the beach or for 4th of July, because it's red.  As you can probably tell, I love off-the-shoulder tops and dresses.  They are super feminine and pretty.  I like the black one because it's just a nice LBD.  The sheer straps make it a little bit more interesting.  I think everybody needs a little black dress for several types of occasions.  You should always have one on hand.  Read below for details about the giveaway with Zaful!

TOP: Urban Outfitters | SHORTS: Target | SANDALS: Forever 21 | SUNGLASSES: Asos | SWIMSUIT TOP: Topshop

I came across this top in Urban Outfitters the other day and instantly fell in love.  Embroidery is one of my obsessions, especially when it looks a bit boho like this.  This top is beautiful.  It has gold metallic thread embroidered throughout too.  I love how the back is so low and has a criss-cross detail.  I will have to wear it over a swimsuit until I get a bralette of some sort.  I currently don't own any.  Regardless of what you wear under this top, I think it's perfect for summer.

Paraben Free Skincare and Cosmetics Review

Paraben Free Products
Paraben Free skincare
Paraben Free Sunscreen

For the past year I have been having a lot of issues with my skin.  I don't get acne for the most part but I will get a few little rash bumps on various parts of my face.  I couldn't get it to go away for the longest time.  I did a lot of research online and realized that it could be due to the parabens in the products that I use.  There have been some studies done that say that parabens are bad for you and may cause cancer.  I haven't read much about that but I try to avoid them because they are a steroid that messes with your natural hormone levels.  They are put in products to preserve them and prevent bacteria growth.  I'm not saying you should avoid them because there hasn't been enough proof that they do in fact cause cancer but if you are like me and get a rash near your chin or mouth, this may be the cause.  I decided to go out and buy all new products to test out my theory.  I am reviewing everything I bought.  Of course I am no medical expert and I'm not a scientist but this is the information that I have gathered from reading about parabens online.  Feel free to correct me if I am wrong about something.  I bought all of these products from Target, Meijer, and T.J. Maxx.

PHYSICIANS FORMULA BB CREAM: This product instantly burned when I put it on.  It has really good coverage for a BB cream, but I couldn't stand the burning.  I will be testing it one more time and it it burns, I'm giving it away.

PHYSICIANS FORMULA MARCARA: This came very dried out.  I don't like the shape of the brush and the formula is super dry.  I am not a fan of this product and probably will not be buying anything else from Physicians Formula.

PIXI x ASPYN OVARD BLUSH: I absolutley love this blush.  It is such a pretty color and has a shimmer to it that kind of acts as a highlight.  I have been using it everyday and have hardly made a dent in it.  I love Aspyn and watch all of her YouTube videos, but that's not why I bought this.  I bought it because I felt like it was the best option for blush by Pixi.  Pixi is the only brand of cosmetics that is paraben free that Target had (that I could find).

PIXI UNDERCOVER CRAYON:  Like I said, I couldn't really find any cosmetic products that are affordable and paraben free except Pixi.  I decided to try out the Undercover Crayon and I really like it.  It's a bit too thick and hard to spread and blend, but it has really good coverage.  I need good coverage because I have THE WORLD"S WORST under-eye circles.

ST IVES BODYWASH: This is a pretty typical body wash except it isn't very satisfying to use.  It just doesn't lather very well.  I may buy it again in the future, just because it is so hard to find paraben free products.

BUBBLE CHARM CUP OF TEA BODY WASH: I'm not sure what the brand of this is but I got it from T.J. Maxx for like $1.  Honestly, that packaging is what drew me in.  It's just so pretty.  I am going to Europe in a couple of months and wanted a travel sized body wash that doesn't have parabens.  This doesn't smell as good as I thought but it is a pretty good body wash.

HASK COCONUT OIL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER: These smell really good and I am very happy with them for the most part.  The shampoo doesn't lather very well and you need a lot of conditioner to make your hair feel soft.

GARNIER WHOLE BLENDS CONDITIONER: I actually bought this way before trying to buy paraben free products.  I just noticed that it happens to be paraben free.  I love this product.  They have a few scents to choose from and the matching shampoos.  I think this will be my new go-to shampoo and conditioner.  It's also pretty affordable.

FREEMAN CHARCOAL AND BLACK SUGAR MASK: This is another product that I previously had.  I am obsessed with this mask.  It makes your face feel super smooth and clean.  I am planning on buying another one when this one is gone.  It's just so good!

BLISS BODY WASH AND BUBBLE BATH: I have been using this as a bubble bath because I have other body wash to use.  It smells pretty good but the bubbles don't last very long.  It's alright overall. As body wash it doesn't lather too well.  I feel like paraben free products just don't lather as well as products with parabens.  That's something that I am okay with though.

HANG TEN SUNSCREEN: This sunscreen works really well but doesn't smell very good.  It's mostly made of plant materials and I am pleasantly surprised with it's ability to block the suns bad rays.  I think this will be my go-to sunscreen.

BURTS BEES SENSITIVE FACIAL CLEANSER: This stuff is pretty expensive but I love how it feels on your skin.  It's super moisturizing, gentle, and feels clean.  I would recommend it if you can spend a lot on facial cleanser.

Zaful Fruit Print Wishlist

Since summer is right around the corner I thought I would show you some of my favorite fruit print items from Zaful.  They are celebrating their 3rd year anniversary and you can find some great savings on the site.  Fruit print is always popular in the summer so it's something you can wear year after year.  Watermelon has always been my favorite fruit print because I find it to be really cute.  I'm not sure why.  There is just something about watermelon that is so fun and playful.  This year I am really loving the lemon print.  Zaful has a ton of items with lemons on them.  My favorite one is  this dress at the top.  I also really love this lemon t-shirt.  It's casual but cute.  Let me know what fruit print is your favorite!

JEANS: ASOS | TOP: Halogen (Nordstrom) | SHOES: Wanted | SUNGLASSES: ASOS | PURSE: Kelsey Dagger Brooklyn | TASSEL KEYCHAIN: T.J. Maxx

Happy Tuesday! I have been obsessed with these mom jeans from ASOS.  I got them a couple of months ago and they are so perfect.  I love how they are casual but feel cooler than skinny jeans.  I paired them with this new embroidered top.  I think the two look really good together.  Normally, I will wear these jeans with a top that is more cropped or tuck part of my shirt in.  The waist is high-wasted, so it can look a little bulky if you wear a long shirt.  I think this outfit works because this top is super thick fabric so you can't really tell that the jeans come up to my waist.  They are also incredibly soft.  What do you guys pair with mom jeans?

This dress came in from Zaful a couple of days ago.  I was so excited about it because I really need dresses.  The off-the-shoulder trend is so big right now.  I'm sure you've noticed that I have been talking a lot about off-the-shoulder pieces.  I just love them.  However they aren't always practical to wear.  A lot of them pop up off your shoulders if they are elasticated.  It only really happens if you lift your arms up.  Overall, I really like how this dress looks.  If you are considering getting just take note that the image is very pixilated and that it is unlined.  This dress would be perfect to wear over a swimsuit on a beach day, or if you have a pool that you go to.  Here are some other floral party dresses from Zaful.  You can use the code ANNELIZF for 10% off.

Cute Gamiss Jumpsuits

9:05:00 PM Andrea Ryan 3 Comments

Gamiss is an online shop that I recently came across.  They have some really adorable jumpsuits and some beautiful lace dresses.  My favorite thing about spring is being able to wear dresses and jumpsuits.  I love effortless dressing and both of these allow for that.  You can just throw them on and automatically look like you tried to some extent.  I think rompers and jumpsuits always look so fashionable.  They are my favorite type of clothing.  I have loved them for so many years.  I can't even remember when I started wearing rompers.  As soon as they became a trend I fell in love.  This one in the picture is perfect.  It is off-the-shoulder and has a ruffle on the shorts part.  This dress is so beautiful with the contrast of lace.  I also love the color.
