Black on Black

SWEATER: Zaful  |  JEANS: Forever 21  |  BERET: Rue 21  |  BOOTS: Primark
I finally got a beret while Black Friday shopping.  I used to have one in High School that I wore all the time but I lost it.  It's funny because I was just in Paris and saw them for sale everywhere.  I thought about getting one but decided not to and have regretted it every day since.  As soon as I got home they start popping up everywhere, and became super trendy.  I have been wanting one because I have always loved the style but it would have been nice to have one from Paris instead of Rue 21.
I like it paired with this new sweater from Zaful.  I ordered it because I love the allover embroidery.  I am very happy with the design but it is much more cropped then it appears to be one the website and the sleeves are very oversized and I have to roll them up.  It's just overall too big.  Since I love the design so much, I'm still going to wear it.

Last of London

Somerset House
St. Pancras Station
Neal's Yard
Primrose Hill
Happy Thanksgiving!  I wanted to throw together a new blog post while I wait for the time to go Black Friday shopping.  These are the last few photos that I wanted to share from London.  They are pretty much all at different locations, so I will talk about each one individually.
-We stopped by Somerset House because I've heard from other bloggers that the architecture is beautiful.  I totally agree.  The courtyard is such a nice spot.
-I took this picture of St. Pancras when we got back from Paris.  It's so big and incredible.  I'm pretty sure that this is where Platform 9 3/4 is located.  We were inside the station and actually forgot to check it out.  I'm a little bummed but I know I'll go back someday.
-Visiting Liberty London was at the top of my list.  I have been wanting to go for SO many years.  I love the floral prints that they create.  I'm a longtime fan of florals and they make some of the best.  The store itself is a dream.  It's so large, with so many treasures inside.  It kind of reminds me of if Anthropologie were a department store.  I bought a Christmas ornament from there.
-We came across this little river area while we were walking around.  We were in search of crumpets and found a bakery that makes them and has the best salted caramel cake.  I can't remember the name of it but we were walking to a bus stop and found this river.
-Visiting Neal's Yard was on my list purely because it looks so cool.  It's a little hidden shopping areas that has a bunch of colorful stores.  It's kind of hard to find because it's hidden in a courtyard, if I remember correctly.
-We wanted to go to Primrose Hill because it has amazing views of the skyline.  It's not too big of a hill but just big enough.  It would be the perfect spot for a picnic if it were summer.

Camouflage

DRESS: Forever 21  |  BOOTS: Gamiss  |  CARDIGAN: Forever 21  |  EARRINGS: Gamiss  |  NECKLACE: LC Lauren Conrad
As my fiancé was taking these pictures he pointed out that I blend in with my surroundings.  I am wearing lots of beige and green, so I see how I blend in so well.  That's why I titled this post "camouflage."  This is as close to wearing actual camouflage as i'd ever get, I think.  I actually detest camouflage as a print.  Personally, I think it's one of the ugliest things I have ever seen and can't   understand how it made it's way into the fashion world.
On a positive note, I am wearing these new boots from Gamiss.  I think they are so beautiful.  They are a beige faux suede.  They have little embroidered stars and moons all over the heel and back.  I just love how unique they are.  They also fit pretty well.  I think they are so nice for fall.

Queen Mary's Rose Gardens

T-SHIRT: Mango  |  CARDIGAN: Primark  |   JEANS: Forever 21  |   SHOES: Converse |  BACKPACK: Primark  |  SUNGLASSES: Asos
These pictures are from Queen Mary's Rose Gardens, a part of Regent's Park.  After Paris, we took the train back to London for a few days before going home.  I am a huge fan of gardens in general so I wanted to be sure to see all of the big ones in London.  This section in Regent's Park is one of my favorites.  I just love all the roses.  There are so many different colors and types.  I can't even describe how amazing the parks in London are but I think I tried to in another post.  They are just so magical.  Not all of these pictures are from the rose garden but they are all in Regent's Park.
I got all of this outfit either for the trip or on the trip.  The t-shirt was from Mango and I love it.  I had never bought anything from Mango because it's more expensive in the U.S.  That's the case with so many stores that I went to.  I really want to go back to London with an empty suitcase because it is now my favorite city for shopping.  So many of my favorite brands are based in England and that usually makes them cheaper there, even with the currency conversion.  Anyway, I am totally planning on returning to London some day with more money and luggage space.  One post left from the trip!

Parc Des Buttes-Chaumont

Welcome to Parc Des Buttes-Charmont, the most surreal city park!  This park is located in Paris.  I had never heard of it before, until about a week until our trip.  I was watching YouTube videos about what to do in Paris and I found that somebody recommended it in the comments.  I looked it up and decided it was worth a visit.  It's like a beautiful fairytale situation in the middle of parisian buildings.  It's so strange and kind of feels like a Disney World ride.  It's actually a really large park with a big hill, paths, bridges, a waterfall, a lake, a mountain, a cave, and palm trees.  The main area has a huge rocky mountain with paths that lead up.  There is a little stone gazebo at the top, designed to look like the Temple of Vesta in Italy.  It has amazing views of the city and Sacre Coeur.  There is also a huge cave behind it with a waterfall running through it and down to the water.  It is just a really interesting park and I'm really glad that I went.  I'm not positive but I think a lot of the elements are man made, but are still really old.

Double Buckle Western Belt

TOP: Zara  |  JEANS: Forever 21  |  BELT: Zaful  |  BOOTS: Pink & Pepper  |  COAT: Forever 21
I've literally had this top since last New Years when I went to Canada.  I got it from Zara at one of the malls in Toronto but haven't been able to blog it yet.  I love the layered details in the front.  The  print is also super cool.  I love how it looks styled with this belt from Zaful.  These double buckle belts are really popular right now.  This one is actually really good quality.  The buckles seem very sturdy and heavy duty.
