Please disregard the hair over my headband 😑

SWEATER: H&M (I think this is it) | JEANS: Forever 21 | COAT: H&M | BOOTS: Sugar | HEADBAND: Forever 21 (similar) | PURSE: H&M | MITTENS: Forever 21 (on sale in store) | RING: Rosegal

Writing this post makes me realize how much I need to start shopping at more stores besides Forever 21 and H&M.  I mean I do shop at a lot of other places but I rely on those stores too much at the same time.  Most of my outfit is from either of those places.  I got this sweater on Black Friday and it is one of my favorite tops of the winter.  It's so comfortable and versatile.  The color is kind of a blush shade.  It's so pretty.  I also really love the mock neck trend because it actually keeps your neck warm and I think it's really flattering.
It snowed a little bit over the weekend so I wanted to go outside and walk around a little today. I also cut my hair a few days ago.  I have been wanting a change for a while but I wasn't sure what to do.  I have had pretty much the same hairstyle for most of my life.  I used to have bangs and that's really the only thing that has changed.  I decided just to cut it shorter because the ends are very dry from winter and it provides that fresh feeling I was looking for.  I'm happy about it because I actually really like it and by the time summer comes, I think it will be long again.  I always like having long hair in the summer because it makes you feel just a little bit more like a mermaid.

A Glimmer of Warmth

DRESS: Target (in store only) | CARDIGAN: Forever 21 (sold out) | BOOTS: Sugar | LEGGINGS: Forever 21 | NECKLACE: Target

These photos were taken last Saturday.  The weather was amazing.  It was warm enough to ditch the coat and go to the beach.  My boyfriend and I went to one of my favorite local beaches for a few hours.  The outfit that I am wearing is pretty new.  I got the dress from Target last week in the sale section.  It's just a basic long sleeve, turtle neck dress.  I am wearing this mauve cardigan over the top.  I got it for Christmas and like how the two look together.  It's just a pretty basic casual outfit, perfect for exploring around the sand dunes.

Totally unrelated to this post, I just want to mention that I am selling a lot of my clothing on Poshmark.  I am also planning on adding them to Depop eventually.  You guys should follow me on one or both if you are interested in anything you see me post about.  I am planning on moving to LA at the end of the year and need to downsize my wardrobe.  I also tend to sell my items at a low price because I really just need to get rid of them! 😃

Whiter Teeth from Smile Brilliant

3:54:00 PM Andrea Ryan 23 Comments

I have long been experimenting with at home whitening methods.  Ever since early High School I would occasionally test out different whitening products like toothpaste and whitening strips.  My teeth were never that bad, but ever since then, my coffee and tea intake has increased.  Also, I just always feel more confident when my teeth are white.  I had braces, but they aren't perfectly straight so I feel like that is less noticeable when they are white.  Recently, I was given the opportunity to test out this at home teeth whitening kit from Smile Brilliant.  This teeth whitening method is special because you use trays that are fit to your teeth perfectly so that you can be sure not to miss any spots!  Watch this video to find out more.

I was super excited to try out my kit when I received it in the mail.  The process begins with creating an impression of your teeth, and sending it back in a prepaid envelope.  They make trays that fit your teeth perfectly so that you can be sure not to miss any spots when whitening.  After you receive your custom trays in the mail you can begin whitening.  There is also desensitizing gel that you can use to ensure that you don't feel any sensitivity afterwords.  Just be sure to read the complete directions before starting.

Whitening is super easy and straightforward.  You can do it in any down time that your have while you are at home.  I like to multi-task while I am whitening.  I like to go on my computer and do whatever I would normally do, work on my blog, watch Netflix, and clean my room up.  I have also been know to do laundry 😀.  The first time I used Smile Brilliant I had a mini pamper session.  I used one of my bath bombs, put on a charcoal mask, and used my hair mask.  It was just the perfect little relaxing session.

Here are my before and after pictures.  My teeth have already become a few shades whiter and that was only after a few uses.  I am excited to see how much brighter they become over time.  The kit comes with multiple tubes and you can always order more.  I genuinely feel like out of all the whitening methods that I have tried, this one has the most noticeable results.  If you have any questions about my experience or the kit, feel free to ask!

I am hosting a Giveaway for $75 dollars towards your kit if you want to enter, you can HERE!
I also have a coupon code for you guys for 5% off: fancyfashioncastle5

Pink Ice

TOP: Rosegal | JEANS: Blue Spice | WATCH: Rosegal | BOOTS: Kohl's | PURSE: H&M

Last Sunday I went out to work on this blog post.  We found a spot on the trail that my boyfriend runs on.  It's really pretty, kind of between the woods and the sand dunes.  The trail was covered in ice.  After taking these pictures I literally got out my ice-skates and skated along the trail.  I just happened to have them in the trunk of my car! It was a really fun end to the weekend!

This sweatshirt is from Rosegal.  I love it so much.  I am actually wearing it as I write this post.   I have been drawn to pink lately.  It's currently one of my favorite colors.  I have been hearing a lot of bloggers say that too.  I guess it's just one of the popular colors in fashion right now.  This watch is also from Rosegal.  I love the image on it.  It's basically a colorful collection of abstract animals and plants.  One thing that was really annoying about it is that when I got it, the battery was basically already dead.  Now I need to have the battery replaced.

TOP: JC Penney (Same one but only in plus size. Non-plus is in store only) | LEGGINGS: H&M | BOOTS: Sugar | PURSE: Marc by Marc Jacobs | CHOKER: Made myself

If you know me well, you would know that I am a huge Disney fan.  It's really been over the last year that the Disney obsession has exploded.  I went to Disneyland a year ago on NYE, and that's when it all started.  I have always loved Disney and have been to Disney World several times, but my love just wasn't as intense before last year.  I cannot really explain what happened.  I just find Disney to be so magical.  I think it's because I'm getting older and I am just starting to realize how special everything made or produced by Disney is.  It's truly incredible.  I cannot watch a Disney movie without getting teary-eyed from joy.  Maybe it's also because I am getting older and am just trying to hold onto my youth.  I will never stop loving Disney though.
I saw this shirt at Forever 21 and really wanted it but it was $25.  That's just too much for me right now.  I came across the exact same one at J.C.Penney for $12, and had a $10 coupon.  This means I got this sweatshirt for only $2!

Milly Bridal*

9:21:00 PM Andrea Ryan 2 Comments

Hey guys, once again I am sharing about a formalwear website.  This shop is called Milly Bridal UK.  They specialize in inexpensive bridal and prom dresses.  There are tons of lovely dresses in just about every style and color.  I know that some of my readers are either planning their wedding or going to prom soon, so I thought I would just pass this shop along.  It's very good if you are on a tight budget because a lot of these dresses are actually really pretty and in style right now!

Here are some of my favorite dresses from Milly Bridal.  I think they would all be amazing selections for formal events.  The first dress is a red prom dress.  I love the silhouette of it.  You can check out all of the short prom dresses that they have to offer.  The last two dresses are some of the  long prom dresses.   My favorite is the last one because I just think the style is so pretty.  The color is also perfection!  Once again, what I really love in wedding dresses is lots of embellishment.  These two have a pretty arrangement of appliqués.  An a-line silhouette is the prettiest to me too.  Both of these dresses include my favorite bridal elements.  Best of all, they are inexpensive.  Be sure to check out Milly Bridal if you live in the UK and are in the market for a dress.

Ruffled Button Up

PURSE: Target | TOP: Rose Wholesale | JEANS: Blue Spice | BOOTS: Forever 21 | COAT: Forever 21

This top is from Rose Wholesale.  I love the style of it.  I think the ruffles and embroidery are so cute.  It gives off major preppy vibes because of the striped fabric, which is also pretty fun.  One thing that kind of bothers me about this top is that it doesn't fit quite right.  The shoulders are very narrow.  I do have broad shoulders for my size because I was a swimmer and gymnast, so I built up a lot of back and shoulder muscle.  I think it would fit the average person, though.  I love it so much, and wish it fit properly.

Travel Posts

Toronto, Canada

It's like a mini Time Square!

View from our hotel room (One King West)

This is one of the largest shopping malls I have ever been it, and definitely the largest Christmas tree I have seen.  It doesn't look as big as it is.  I couldn't fit the whole thing.  It goes all the way down to where those people are on the ground floor.

Coat: H&M | Hat: Target | Scarf: Anastasia Chatzka Boutique | Boots: Sugar |Sweater: H&M | Purse: Ted Baker

For New Years Day and the following day, my boyfriend and I went to Toronto, Canada.  I'm not sure if I have been there before but it was amazing.  I instantly fell in love with this city and feel like it is way under appreciated.  It's around 8 hours from my house and I wish I had gone there sooner.  Toronto was much larger than I thought.  It's huge.  It has it's own unique big city personality.
While we were there we walked along Lake Ontario, did a lot of shopping, went to a couple markets, ate out at several places, and just did a lot of exploring.  The malls there are amazing.  They are huge and partially underground.  You can go several blocks underground, so you don't have to go out in the cold.  That huge tree and light up reindeer are inside the mall.  It's hard to tell how huge they actually are but I couldn't even fit the whole tree in my picture.  All of the food we ate was really good too.  I really want to go back when the weather is warmer to take full advantage of everything the city has to offer.
