Exploring Kenneth Hahn Park

Sunday we found out that Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is open and allows dogs.  I'm not sure if it has been open this whole time, or if it just opened.  We have been staying home for the most part, like everybody else and it is really hard on our puppy.  He is starting to show signs of separation anxiety when we leave together because he is used to being with us nonstop.  Also, he is really bored and not getting enough stimulation and exercise.  We have been trying to find methods to get him out more.  I read in an article that dog parks were supposed to be open (even though they weren't) so we drove to one to check it out.  Since it was closed, we stopped at another park on the way home that we hadn't been to.  Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area proved to be open so we decided to stop in.  There is actually a lot to do there.  There are a few ponds, walking trails with views of L.A., a Japanese garden, and a lot more.  Luca is really tired today, so I think he had a lot of fun.
I wore these jean shorts that I got from Target a few months ago.  They are exactly what I had been looking for.  I love how they are loser and a bit longer.  As I get older, I just feel more comfortable wearing this style of shorts.  Also, they look super cute.  The denim is really soft as well.   They are still available online and possibly at Target stores.

Recent Shoe Additions

ALL SHOES ARE FROM NORDSTROM RACK  |  RAINBOOTS: Report (similar)  |  BOOTS: Circus by Sam Edelman  |  HEELS: Susina  |  FLATS: Abound  |  SANDALS: Abound
Since I haven't been able to do many outfit posts lately, I decided to share the shoes I have gotten over the past few months.  I don't think I have blogged any of these yet.  They are all from Nordstrom Rack, but I got them at different times.  The first two pair of boots I got separately and the last 3 pairs I bought together from a sample sale.  Most of them are still available.  I have to add that since I work for the company (sample coordinator), I did get a discount.  The ones from the sample sale were significantly reduced.
Firstly, I bought the rain boots when I was shopping for plain black chelsea boots.  I never found any that were in my price range but I fell in love with these.  I had been needing rain boots because in the winter it actually rains a lot in California.  I have seen these glittery rain boots several places and really wanted them.  I found them on clearance, so I couldn't pass them up.  The other black boots were purchased a separate time when I went in again, looking for basic chelsea boots.  I was fed up with looking and settled for these.  I am so glad I did because I am in love with them.  They are so unique and just look really cool.  I love the print and gold spikes.  The last three pairs were purchased at a sample sale for Nordstrom Rack.  Basically, I just love them all!

What I've Been Wearing

 THERMAL PANTS: Target  |  T-SHIRT:  H&M
I've basically been living in PJ's because of the stay-at-home order, what about you guys?  I have been getting dressed pretty much every day, but only for a short period of time.  I love these thermal leggings that I found at Target a few months ago.  They are basically just like leggings but made of thin thermal fabric.  They are super comfy and stretchy.  They were also really affordable.  I have a very similar pair that I found at T.J. Maxx around the same time.  Those have a little London city print.  I sleep and lounge in both of them very often.  I just love how they don't have a ton of loose fabric that you are tripping over, like normal pajamas.  It is starting to get too warm to wear them, so I just wanted to share them before I have to put them away for the season.  Also, with coronavirus, it just seems appropriate.  What have you guys been wearing at home?  Do you bother to get dressed?

QuaranEaster

TOP: Topshop  |  JEANS: Target  |  BASKET: Walmart  |  Dog toy and bow tie: Target
Happy QuaranEaster everybody.  This year for Easter we are obviously just staying home.  Since my husband and I got a puppy recently, we have been having lots of fun playing with him.  We got him a little Easter basket with some toys and treats, along with our own.  We didn't do much aside from watch TV, eat turkey burgers and candy, and dye eggs.  I wore this super casual outfit.  I wanted to wear a colorful sequin top that I got from a Nordstrom Rack sample sale, but it's not very comfortable.  I will blog it sometime soon.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays.  I got around to putting up some decorations today and wanted to share some of them.  I got most of these this year, before the lock down.  I have a few other things but haven't put them out yet.  I'd love to get more in the future but I am a little tight on money right now and don't want to buy too much.  Do you guys decorate for easter or spring?
